1982 Fender '52 Telecaster Reissue Memo


1982 release from Joe Phelps at Fender introducing the reissue of the '52 Telecaster. This was mailed to all Fender Authorized Dealers and I got this one some time in 1982. Notice the heading and the address which also dates the memo. It also mentions Dan Smith who was the man behind all of the reissues that came after. Notice the price of $875.00 and the spec sheet on the second page. I've had this memo boxed up at home since the '80s and I'm sorry I didn't take better care of it. But at least I kept it and if you're a serious collector this would make an interesting and unique addition to your Tele and/or Fender collection.
