1934 Leedy No. 5071 "Spartan" Bass Drum


October 1934 Leedy "Spartan" 14x28 Bass drum features 3-ply mahogany shell with maple counter hoops. 12 single tension nickel-plated T-Rods with center support. Tri-tone blue lacquer finish. Two original Leedy calfskin heads. Original Leedy external muffler. Original canvas bag. Two external mounted after-market (Japan) bass drum spurs. 

Drum is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. Finish is good and shell and hoops appear to be structurally sound. One small tear in one of the heads. A cool vintage piece from a pivotal era of drum development. Plus it's just fun to play!
